Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy

Tarte Tipsy2    Is there a single blogger out there who hasn’t discovered the brilliance of Tarte blushers? Well, whether there is or not, these circular pots of pigmented joy have been adorning my cheeks for around a year now and I love them more and more with every application.

They apply evenly, are pigmented beyond belief and do live up to the claim of staying put for twelve hours. They may fall towards the pricier end of scale but they’re definitely worth it as you only need the tiniest of sweeps of a brush to pack your cheeks full of colour. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever hit pan on a single one of these, so they’re a great investment.

Eventually I want to talk to you about all of the shades in my make up drawers but today I’ve chosen Tipsy, which is probably the most popular out there in the world of blogging. Anna‘s stated time and again it’s her favourite and that endorsement’s good enough for me, so last time I was in Florida I picked this one up without even swatching it.

When I got it home and had a look I was a bit taken aback by the orange packaging – I’m very pale skinned and orange blushes have me running for the hills. However, I’m pleased to report that this isn’t an orange disaster but a coral beauty that perks up even the most lacklustre skin. A perfect pick for the upcoming months of dreary weather.

Here’s a look at it in action:

While Tarte have released a few bits and bobs in the UK via QVC, you can pick up anything from the full range on the Sephora website so hop to it and take advance of that great exchange rate. Spend £50 and you’ll only have to shell out £3 for delivery (though you are charged taxes and duty fees up front, so avoid any nasty surprises when your package arrives in customs). My mum made a Sephora order a couple of weeks ago and it arrived within four days. FOUR DAYS. It takes longer than that to get an order from Boots! Sephora, colour me impressed.
